Hi Billy, good to hear from you again! Your transcript of JB/087/116/002 has been checked and accepted by the Transcribe Bentham editors. This was a good transcription of the page, thank you! We just changed one word, it looks more like ‘latter’ than ‘better’ to us. This completed transcript has now been locked to prevent other users from altering it. Welcome to the Transcribe Bentham project and thank you for your first transcript of JB100/063/002, which was an excellent effort. The transcription and the tagging were both done very well. We have made a few small changes to your transcript, which can be viewed at [1] You noticed a problem with the addition tag when Bentham has added two suggestions of additional words. Unfortunately, using only one addition tag creates problems for us when we save the transcript as an XML file. So the best solution is to include all the additions within one set of tags and use ‘/’ to identify Bentham’s alternative words. If you have any questions, please do get in touch. We look forward to receiving more of your transcripts in the future!
